An interwiki bot run on the toolserver by User:Conrad.Irwin using the pywikipediabot framework and en:User:Robert Ullmann's en:User:Interwicket/code.

How it works:

  1. Downloads latest XML dump.
  2. Scans XML dump for interwiki links in the wrong order/ to the wrong page.
  3. Downloads Special:Allpages from every other Wiktionary on m:List of Wiktionaries.
  4. Looks for all pages that have wrong interwiki links in the XML dump.
  5. Download the latestcopy of the page.
  6. Upload a new copy of the page with the up to date interwikis if necessary.

  • 26th November 2008 - Updated 14,403 pages using 20081116 XML dump.
  • 14th January 2008 - Updated 3,685 pages using 20090111 XML dump.
