Does this word mean människa av manligt kön (male human), or something else? The word man has many meanings in Swedish. "85" 17 augusti 2009 kl. 12.18 (CEST)

Strictly speaking it only refers to a male human. It is often used instead of miensj, which means male human/normal human-being, to make clear that it refers to a male human only and not to a woman too. I think the nackhår-meaning is for the hair horses have? That's maon in Limburgish. weer for make (husband) is often used.
