Definite Article is required[redigera]

It's up to your Wiki to decide the name of this article but the headword must show that the definite article (an) is required for this word. There are a few countries which are not definite in Irish (e.g. Éire "Ireland" or Sasana "England"), but most are. Personally I don't have a strong opinion about whether the page title should include the article, but the easiest way to show it's required is through the headword or through a usage note.

The only case I can think of where the article isn't used is in a genitive expression like Gearmáin na Náitsithe "Nazi Germany". Those expressions are considered definite and never have two articles (na is another form of the article).

I've changed the headword in this article today. Feel free to contact me at the Irish Wiktionary if you want to discuss this further. Slán libh! ☸ Moilleadóir 7 maj 2009 kl. 19.17 (CEST)

I've added a note on the usage (per your description). I also thought it best to put both forms in the heading, since it'd be a bit confusing not having the lemma included in the article text. We seem to have a template for an Irish inflectional table but it doesn't cover the use of the definite article (yet), as does the table in the English article.
